About Her Most Trickiness, Ms Harris!
Hey all! My name’s Shirlina and I was born on 28 May 1984! I’m proud to be my age, and I hope this never changes! I’m in my first year of teaching in a secondary school, where a lot of kids are busy trying to find their feet inthe maelstrom that adolescence can be. You know, that purgatory between being a child and being an adult. All I have got to say to this is: it doesn’t necessarily get any easier, but you learn to live with it.
Consider me! Legally recognised as an adult, in a position where I have people under my care (ranging from 20 to 30 people at a time) during the week, and yeat still getting told off and acting like a kid in my own spare time.
I still have a zest for life, that I hope never to lose. The day this occurs, you will know that something is seriously wrong. Until then however, I’m taking it from day-to-day and hope to meet others out there who have that certain, skewif look on life that (it seems to me sometimes) comes from being a child of the 80′s.

I think the name of your blog could go further than that when you think of the literary and historical nuances 1984 brings. You’re part of the generation that thinks Big Brother is a TV show, gets to continue their adolescence well into their 20s and live in the most technologically advanced age ever. There’s so much more to 1984 than being 22.
From an oldie……….
